Dr. Philip Gallegos, DDS
Dr. Philip M. Gallegos, DDS, is a renowned and experienced dentist in Albuquerque, known for his professionalism and compassion. Hi, my name is Vanessa. I was born and raised in Albuquerque and have been in the dental field for over 20 years. I thoroughly enjoy helping patients achieve their ultimate smile while maintaining their overall health. I love the diversity of working in the dental field, as every day brings something new.
Outside of the practice I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and my children. I am a dog lover, enjoy working out, spending time outdoors, and enjoy traveling.
I am so happy to be part of this amazing team and I look forward to working with you in the future.

Hello, my name is Sonya. I was born and raised in Taos, NM. I have been working in the dental field for the past 11 years. I love what I do and I feel very fortunate to work with such an amazing team here!
I am happily married to my incredible husband Matthew. We have two teenage boys. Matt Jr. and Dominic. We have two dogs and a cat. On our spare time we enjoy camping, fishing, and hiking.
I love getting to know all of our patients and look forward to helping you meet all of your dental needs.

Hello and welcome to all of you! I was born in Farmington, NM and grew up in Bloomfield, NM. I have lived in Albuquerque since 1989. I love Albuquerque and wouldn’t ever want to leave.
I attended the University of New Mexico and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. I am licensed by the state of New Mexico in local anesthesia. I am a laser certified Dental Hygienist. I was certified by The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry in 2000.
It is my duty, to you, to attend continuing education courses in order to provide you with the most up to date, state of the art procedures and information. I take pride in myself, my work and in my accomplishments.
I value God and family above all! I always approach every day and every patient with this thought…”what would I do for you if you were my daughter, parent, brother or sister?” What would I expect from my Dental Hygienist? Quite simply, ” do unto others as I would have them do unto me.” I have been a Dental Hygienist for 30 years and I have loved every minute of it!
Stephanie Fernandez

Hi, my name is Stephanie! I was born in Los Alamos, NM, and raised in Taos, NM. My childhood dream was to one day be a provider in the dental field. After graduating high school I moved to Las Cruces to begin this journey. I graduated college and started my career in the dental field as a Dental Assistant. I eventually continued my educational goals and went on to become a registered Dental Hygienist.
I am a certified and licensed in the State of NM. I am also licensed in local anesthesia, soft tissue laser certified, CPR certified, and OSHA certified.
I married my high school sweetheart and we are blessed with 2 beautiful children; Daniel Jr. and Gabriella. I love spending time with my family, going to church, attending all my kid’s events, and being outdoors.
I’m enjoying working with Dr. Gallegos and his amazing staff. I look forward to providing all my patients with a kind and welcoming environment at every visit.
Becca Sedillo

Hi, my name is Becca. I graduated from UNM in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. I was born and raised here in Albuquerque and grew up in the north valley. Outside of the practice I love to spend time with my 5 dogs and actively do CrossFit.
I have been in love with the dental field since a very young age and look forward to spending time with my patients and treating their needs. I love working with Dr. Gallegos and his team because the practice is dedicated to providing a higher quality of patient care.

Candie Sanchez

Hello, my name is Candie Sanchez. I was raised in Cuba, NM and have been in the dental field for 17 years. I graduated from San Juan College in Farmington, NM and became a licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of NM in 2006. I am also licensed in local anesthesia as well as certified in laser therapy. I enjoy helping all my patients achieve oral health as well as their overall health. I also enjoy meeting new patients and getting to know all my patients throughout their dental treatment. I treat each patient with respect and as if they were a member of my own family. I understand that dental treatment can cause many people anxiety and pain, therefore I try to make each patient's experience in my chair as comfortable as I can. I understand their fear and anxiety, therefore I strive to be compassionate throughout their treatment so that they may achieve their oral health in a calm and comfortable environment. I am very proud to be a part of the team at Gallegos Family Dentistry and am grateful to work alongside Dr. Gallegos and the rest of the staff at the practice.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy the outdoors, hunting, hiking & riding ATV's. I value God, and overall, my family. I do take pride in my work as a Dental Hygienist and look forward to helping all my patients achieve the smile they want & deserve!
