Meet Liz Goodwin, RDH
Liz grew up in New Mexico and earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Mexico. With 8 years of clinical dental hygiene experience, Liz enjoys building relationships with patients and treating them for their individual needs. She is passionate about patient education and believes it is essential for all patients to understand that oral hygiene affects overall health. Therefore, preventative care visits are necessary to achieve systemic health. Liz is pleased to provide gentle, quality care and takes her time to be sure patients have a comfortable and positive experience at every hygiene maintenance appointment. She wants to help patients create healthy habits that will keep smiles that will last for a lifetime.
Liz feels it is of great importance to give back to the community and has participated in events such as Give Kids a Smile, Healthy Smiles, NM Special Olympics, Big Brother Big Sister Mentors at UNM and Dental Health Education at Chamiza Elementary. She is also a member of the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network and is on the Forensic Dental Identification Team for the state of NM.
In her personal life, Liz loves spending quality time with her husband and two children and their Boxer dog Rocco. She is an avid runner, likes traveling and being outdoors.
